Özet
Türkiye’de bilimsel dergilerin denetimi ve dizinlenmesi çalışmaları 1963 yılında TUBİTAK’ın kurulmasıyla başlamış, 1993 yılında Ulusal Veri Tabanları (UVT)’nın geliştirilmesi ile önemli bir ivme kazanmış ve 2003 yılından itibaren dizinlenen makalelere tam olarak online ulaşımın sağlanmıştır. TUBİTAK-ULAKBİM Ulusal Tıp Veritabanı / Türk Tıp Dizini olarak geçen ifadeler 2013 yılından itibaren TR Dizin adı altında tek bir ifadede birleştirilerek günümüzde bu haliyle devam etmektedir. TR dizinde ki dergi sayısı her geçen yıl artarak 2018 yalında 842 ye ulaşmıştır. TR dizinin Türk bilim dünyasına yaptığı en büyük katkı yayıncılık alanında bilimsel bir standartizasyon meydana getirmek olmuştur.
Checking and indexing of scientific journals in Turkey have started with the establishment of TUBITAK in 1963. It has gained significant momentum by the National Database (NB) development in 1993, and full access to indexed articles as online have been provided since 2003. Nomenclatures as TUBITAK-ULAKBIM National Medical Database / Turkish Medical Directory are combined under the name of TR Index since 2013 and continues as the same term in current time. İndexed journals in TR İndex has increased day by day and reached to 842 as of 2018.The most important contribution of TR İndex to Turkish science is to form scientific standartization about publication.
