dc.description.abstractThis study aims to analyze the factors affecting individuals' free-riding behavior in benefiting from public goods. For this purpose, data was collected from 688 people from the Mediterranean, Aegean, and Central Anatolia regions via an online survey method, and the data was analyzed with an ordered probit regression model. According to the results of the analysis, a significant relationship was found between free-riding behavior as the dependent variable and fifteen different independent variables such as tax burden, cultural environment, tax perception, tax awareness, public service
