Özet
Bu araştırmanın amacı, özgün adı The Brief Personal Meaning Profile (PMP-B) olan Kişisel Anlam Profili Kısa Formunun (KAP-KF) Türk kültürüne uyarlanmasıdır. Açımlayıcı faktör analizine göre KAP-KF’unun özgün formunda olduğu gibi her bir boyutunda 3 maddeden oluşan 7 faktörlü yapı elde edilmiştir. Bu yapı toplam varyansın %66,4’ünü açıklamaktadır. Doğrulayıcı faktör analizi sonuçları kabul edilebilir uyum değerleri [?2(168, N = 308) = 447.88, p<0.01; IFI = 0.92; CFI = 0.92; SRMR = 0.073; RMSEA = 0.074] üretmiştir. Ölçeğin ölçüt geçerliği için yapılan analizlerde KAP-KF ile yaşamda anlamın varlığı (r= 0.38; p<0.01), yaşam doyumu (r = 0.45; p<0.01) ve yaşam amacı alt ölçeği (r = 0.49; p<0.01) arasında pozitif yönde orta düzeyde ilişki belirlenmiştir. Tüm ölçeğin iç tutarlılık katsayısı .84 olarak hesaplanmıştır. Alt boyutların iç tutarlılık katsayılarının ise .64 ile .83 arasında değerler aldığı saptanmıştır. Tüm bu sonuçlar KAP-KF’nun Türk kültüründe geçerli ve güvenilir bir araç olduğunu göstermektedir.
Purpose of this research is adapting The Brief Personal Meaning Profile (PMP-B) to Turkish culture. According to the exploratory factor analysis, 7 factor structures including 3 items was obtained in one dimension of the PMP-B as is the case in its original form. This structure explains 66.4% of the total variance. Confirmatory factor analysis results produced acceptable adaptive values as [?2(168, N = 308) = 447.88, p<0.01; IFI = 0.92; CFI = 0.92; SRMR = 0.073; RMSEA = 0.074]. In the analysis done for criterion validity of the scale, a positive medium relationship was determined between PMP-B and existence of meaning in life (r= 0.38; p<0.01), life satisfaction (r= 0.45; p<0.01) and life purpose (r= 0.49; p<0.01). Internal consistency coefficient was calculated as .84. It was specified that internal consistency values of the sub-dimensions were between .64 and .83. All these results show that PMP-B is a valid and reliable instrument for Turkish culture.
