dc.description.abstractGeleneksel enerji kaynaklarının hızla tükenmesi ve bu tür kaynakların çevre ve insan sağlığına verdiği zararlar konusunda farkındalığın artması elektrik enerjisi üretiminde yenilenebilir kaynakların kullanılmasının önemini giderek artırmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı Türkiye’de yenilenebilir elektrik enerjisi üretimine etki eden faktörleri araştırmaktır. Çalışmada 1990-2015 yılları arası yıllık olarak Türkiye’nin yenilenebilir elektrik enerjisi üretimi, toplam elektrik enerjisi tüketimi, toplam elektrik enerjisi tüketimi içerisinde yenilenebilir enerji tüketiminin payı ve kişi başına Gayri Safi Yurt İçi Hâsıla büyüme oranı verileri kullanılmıştır. Veriler Dünya Bankası’ndan elde edilmiştir. Birim kök analizi yapılarak serilerin birinci farkları alındığında durağan olduğu görülmüştür. Eş bütünleşme analizi yapılarak serilerin uzun dönemde birlikte hareket ettikleri anlaşılmıştır. EKK tahmin modeli kullanılarak yapılan analiz sonucunda Türkiye’de kişi başına GSYH büyüme oranının, toplam elektrik enerjisi tüketiminin ve toplam elektrik enerjisi tüketimi içerisinde yenilenebilir enerji tüketiminin payının yenilenebilir elektrik enerjisi üretimine anlamlı ve pozitif yönde katkı sağladığı tespit edilmiştir.
dc.description.abstractRapid depletion of traditional energy resources and increased awareness of the damages to the environment and human health caused by such resources are becoming increasingly important in the use of renewable resources in production of electrical energy. The aim of this study is to investigate the factors affecting the production of renewable electric energy in Turkey. Turkey’s annual renewable electric energy production, total electric energy consumption, share of renewable electric energy consumption in total electric energy consumption and growth rate of GDP per capita data are used in this paper for the period 1990-2015. These data are obtained from World Bank Data Bank. We performed a unit root test and found that the series were stationary in their first order differences. Co-integration analysis showed that the series move together in the long run. As a result of analysis using OLS estimate model, it is found that total electric energy consumption, share of renewable electric energy consumption in total electric energy consumption and growth rate of GDP per capita contribute significantly and positively to the production of renewable electric energy in Turkey.
