Özet
Segmental nörofibromatozis (NF), tek taraflı café-au-lait makülleri, çillenme ve yaygın NF komplikasyonlarının lokalize belirtileri ile karakterize nadir bir NF varyantıdır. Bu yazıda, tek taraflı café-au-lait makülleri, aksiller çillenme ve Lisch nodülleri ile başvuran ve nörofibrom bulgusu olmayan 30 yaşında bir kadın olgu sunulmuştur. Nörofibromların yokluğu, bu durumun tanısal zorluklarını vurgulamakta ve genellikle eksik raporlamaya yol açmaktadır. Bu vaka, optimum hasta bakımı ve yönetimi için gerekli olan uygun uzun vadeli multidisipliner takip, malignite taraması ve genetik danışmanlığı sağlamak için doğru tanıya olan kritik ihtiyacı vurgulamaktadır.
Segmental neurofibromatosis (NF) is a rare variant of NF characterized by unilateral café-au-lait macules, freckling, and localized manifestations of common NF complications. We report the case of a 30-year-old woman presenting with unilateral café-au-lait macules, axillary freckling, and Lisch nodules, with no evidence of neurofibromas. The the absence of neurofibromas highlights diagnostic challenges of this condition, often leading to underreporting. This case emphasizes the critical need for accurate diagnosis to enable appropriate long-term multidisciplinary follow-up, malignancy screening, and genetic counseling, which are essential for optimal patient care and long-term
