Özet
Ayakkabı; insanoğlunu zorlu koşullardan koruyarak konfor sağlayan ve günümüzde bunun ötesinde kullanım yeri ve modaya göre şekillenen bir araç haline gelmiştir. Önemi ve kapsamının artmasıyla birlikte modern dünyanın temel sanayilerinden biri haline gelmiştir. Tekstil malzemelerindeki gelişmelerden de etkilenerek deri yapısından bağımsız olarak çok farklı ürün gamlarına doğru eğrilmiştir. Modanın tamamlayıcısıyken kendi başına bir moda olmuştur. Buzul Çağı’na dayanan keçe ve deri geçmişiyle insanlık tarihinin vazgeçilmez bir parçasını olan ayakkabı günümüzde moda, siyaset, sanat gibi her türlü akımdan etkilenerek sınırsız bir tasarıma dönüşmüştür. Bu derleme çalışmanın ana amacı genel olarak; ayakkabı tanımı, kullanılan malzemeler, sektör hacmi ve günümüzün gerekliliklerinden sürdürülebilirlik perspektifinde ayakkabının tanımlanmasıdır.
Footwear; it has become a tool that provides comfort by protecting human beings from harsh conditions and today, beyond that, it has become a tool that is shaped according to the place of use and fashion. With its increasing importance and scope, it has become one of the basic industries of the modern world. Influenced by the developments in textile materials, it has evolved into very different product ranges, regardless of leather structure. While it was a complement to fashion, it has become a fashion in itself. Footwear, which are an indispensable part of human history with their felt and leather history dating back to the Ice Age, have today become an unlimited design, influenced by all kinds of movements such as fashion, politics and art.The main purpose of this study is to define footwear through the lens of the materials used, the scale of the industry, and the crucial aspect of sustainability in today's world.
