dc.description.abstractConsidering the limited improvement opportunities in production processes, the importance of the impact of logistics activities becomes evident. As in every field, it is important to evaluate the processes meticulously in logistics activities and to start the work with the right decisions, especially in cases that require large-scale investment. Accordingly, logistics activities have become the focus of scientific studies in recent years. In this context, in the study; A rational approach to the transportation vehicle purchase decision of a company operating in the transportation sector is proposed with multi-criteria decision-making techniques that offer scientific decision support. In the study, it was possible to compare the results by using ARAS and ARCAS techniques. By using the CRITIC technique in weighting the decision criteria, the decision is prevented from being intuitive. It has been determined that the results obtained with both techniques are the same, and it has been found that the multi-criteria decision-making techniques used provide strong results.
dc.description.abstractÜretim süreçlerindeki iyileştirilme olanaklarının sınırlılığı dikkate alındığında, lojistik faaliyetlerin yaratacağı etkinin önemi ortaya çıkmaktadır. Her alanda olduğu gibi lojistik faaliyetlerde de süreçlerin titizlikle değerlendirilmesi ve özellikle büyük ölçekli yatırım gerektiren durumlarda ise işe doğru kararlarla başlanması önemlidir. Buna bağlı olarak lojistik faaliyetler son yıllarda bilimsel çalışmaların odağı haline gelmiştir. Bu kapsamda çalışmada; nakliye sektöründe faaliyet gösteren bir firmanın, nakliye aracı alım kararına, bilimsel karar destek olanağı sunan çok kriterli karar verme teknikleri ile rasyonel bir yaklaşım önerilmiştir. Çalışmada ARAS ve ARCAS teknikleri kullanılarak sonuçların karşılaştırılmasına olanak sunulmuştur. Karar kriterlerinin ağırlıklandırılmasında CRITIC tekniğinden yararlanılarak, kararın sezgisel olmasının önüne geçilmiştir. Her iki teknikle elde edilen sonuçların birbiriyle aynı olduğu belirlenmiş, kullanılan çok kriterli karar verme tekniklerinin güçlü sonuçlar sağladığı bulgulanmıştır.
