dc.description.abstractİnşaat sektöründe yüksekte çalışmaya bağlı iş kazalarının sayısı ve olumsuz sonuçları giderek artış göstermektedir. Yüksekte çalışma standartlarına uyulmaması, bu artışın temel sebebi olup olmadığı sorusunu akıllara getirmektedir. Bu nedenle bu çalışmanın amacı yüksekte çalışma uygulamalarında standartlara uyulup uyulmadığını iş güvenliği uzmanları gözüyle araştırmaktır. Bu amacı gerçekleştirmek için gerekli olan veriler, çevrimiçi ortama aktarılan anket yardımıyla sosyal medya paylaşım ağına üye olan 101 iş güvenliği uzmanından toplanmıştır. Yüksekte çalışma standartları ekipman, temizlik/düzen, çalışanlar, yönetim faaliyetleri ve eğitim/bilgilendirme değerlendirilmiştir. Nicel istatistikî tekniklere dayalı yapılan analizler sonucunda yüksekte çalışma standartlarına uyulup uyulmaması iş güvenliği uzmanlarının demografik ve mesleki özelliklerine göre değişiklik göstermesine rağmen gerek işverenlerin gerekse de çalışanların eğitim/bilgilendirme dışındaki boyutlar ile ilgili standartlara uymadıkları tespit edilmiştir. Elde edilen bu bulgular doğrultusunda sektörde çalışan uygulamacılar için öneriler getirilmiştir
dc.description.abstractThe number and negative outcomes of workplace accidents due to working at height in the construction sector are gradually increasing. Failure to comply with working at height standards raises the question of whether it is a principal cause of the increase. The purpose of this work is therefore to investigate the adherence to standards in working at height practices from the occupational safety specialists’ point of view. The data required to achieve this objective was collected from 101 occupational safety specialists who are members of the social media sharing network through the online questionnaire survey. Working at height standards have been evaluated in five dimensions: equipment, cleanliness/layout, employees, management activities and training/information. Although the result of the analysis based on quantitative statistical techniques has determined that adherence to working at height standards varies according to the demographic and professional characteristics of the occupational safety specialists, it was found that both employers and employees do not comply with the standards of dimensions other than training/information. In the light of these findings, the recommendations have been made for workers in the industry
