    The Relationship between the Unmet Expectations and Disruptive Behaviors of Employees: A Research on Bank Employees

    The aim of this research is to examine the relationship between the perception of psychological contract breach, which expresses the unmet expectations of the employees in the context of business life, and the probability of exhibiting deviant workplace behaviors, which express some destructive behaviors that the employees deliberately carry out to harm the enterprise, in the sample of bank employees. A quantitative study was conducted in this direction. The Psychological Contract Violation Scale and the Deviant Workplace Behaviors Scale were applied to a sample of 276 employees through the questionnaire technique. Data obtained from scales was subjected to statistical analysis. The result of the study revealed that there is a positive and significant correlation between the perception of psychological contract breach and deviant workplace behaviors. In addition, it was found that psychological contract breach perceptions have a significant effect on employees' deviant workplace behaviors.
