One of the most frequently used social media platforms. YouTube can be shared before, during or after experience. In this research, sentiment analysis was applied to the comments of a video titled “Göbekli Tepe: The Dawn of Civilization” published on YouTube about Göbeklitepe ruins, one of Turkey’s most important touristic destinations. It was concluded that 44,68% of the comments obtainded were positive, 21,57% negative and 33,73% neutral. It was determined that the most frequently mentioned word in all comments was “year”, the most frequently mentioned word in positive comments was “like”, the most frequently mentioned word in negative comments was “year” and the most frequently mentioned word in neutral comments was “year”.
