    Recovery Process In Aviation Sector After Covid-19: An Assessment On Aviation Companies In Turkey

    This study aims to comprehensively examine the recovery processes of aviation companies operating in Turkey after the COVID-19 pandemic, which created an unprecedented crisis environment in the global aviation industry and left the sector facing deep operational and financial challenges. To this end, the study focuses on aviation companies traded on the Borsa Istanbul Transportation Index and evaluates their performance for the years 2022, 2023 and 2024 based on key financial ratios. In the evaluation process, the weights of the financial indicators were determined using the Entropy method, which is an objective method, and then the performance of the companies in the recovery process was comparatively analyzed according to these weights using the WASPAS method. The results of the analysis showed that Çelebi Hava Hizmetleri A.Ş. consistently showed the highest performance in all periods analyzed, while Pegasus Hava Taşımacılığı A.Ş. and Turkish Airlines A.O. showed periodic differences in their rankings throughout the years analyzed.
