    Investigation of Total Quality Management Perception and Employee Performance in Turkish Civil Aviation According to Employee Work Experience

    Achieving the targets set in the aviation sector, which is the first field that comes to mind when the concepts of quality and speed in the transportation sector are mentioned, can be achieved by increasing quality and employee performance, as in every field. In addition, it should not be forgotten that the experience of the employees directly affects the concepts of safety and security, which are also among the first parts of attention in this sector. In the study, the differences in total quality management perception and employee performance in the Turkish civil aviation sector according to their work experience were examined. Total quality management scale and employee performance scales were used in the research. The results of the study conducted on 600 employees working in different companies in the civil aviation sector within the provincial borders of Istanbul, which is known as the center of the civil aviation sector in Turkey in terms of the number of flights and traffic, were examined using the SPSS 26.0 program (State Airports Management [DHMİ], 2023: 134). As a result of the research, it was concluded that the performance and total quality management perceptions of employees in the Turkish civil aviation sector do not differ depending on their working hours in their sectors.
