Materials and Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted with 140 participants who were 65 years of age and older and could be reached. Self-Care Agency Scale and Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSA) were applied to the participants. The data of the participants grouped according to demographic characteristics were analyzed using statistical methods such as independent two-sample t-test and ANOVA. The relationship between self-care agency and sleep quality was evaluated with Pearson correlation analysis. Findings: As a result of the analyses, it was found that there were significant differences in terms of self-care agency and sleep quality between age groups (p < 0.05). Self-care agency of individuals in the 65-69 age group was found to be significantly higher than those in individuals aged 75 and older. Similarly, it was observed that sleep quality deteriorated with age. It was found that women had higher self-care agency and sleep quality scores than men (p < 0.05). Both self-care agency and sleep quality scores were found to be lower in individuals with chronic diseases (p < 0.01). It was found that individuals who attended Refreshing University showed better results in terms of both self-care agency and sleep quality than those who did not (p < 0.001). Conclusion: The study revealed a strong relationship between self-care agency and sleep quality. It is recommended that social participation programs for elderly individuals be expanded and that nurses take an active role in this process. Considering the positive effects of education and social support programs on the quality of life of elderly individuals, such practices should be increased.Öğe Bibliometric Analysis of Spiritual Healing Themed Articles in Nursing Research Area(2025) Akyüz, Hatice Öntürk; Aslan, Hakime; Gülsoy, Hatice; Güzeltaş, GökhanBACKGROUND/AIMS: This bibliometric analysis aims to highlight important trends, research questions and contributions to better understand the academic literature on spiritual healing. Bulgular: 7-12 yaş çocuk hastalarda venöz kan alma girişimi esnasında meydana gelen ağrıyı azaltmada dikkati başka yöne çekme kartlarının ve kaleidoskop uygulamasının ağrı şiddetini anlamlı düzeyde azalttığı (pÖğe Comparing The Social Gender Perception Of Health Sciences Faculty Students with Other Department Students(M.
