İşgörenlerde iş ve yaşam doyum ilişkisi: Konaklama işletmeleri üzerine, Kuşadası örneği

Abstract

Araştırmanın amacı, konaklama işletmelerinde çalışan işgörenlerin iş ve yaşam doyum ilişkisini betimsel olarak belirlenmesidir. Araştırma örneklemi, 2015 turizm sezonu içerisinde Kuşadası ve çevresinde faaliyet gösteren Kültür ve Turizm bakanlığına bağlı konaklama işletmelerinde ankete yanıt vermeyi kabul eden toplam 747, işgörenden meydana gelmektedir. Çalışma için toplanan veriler, işgörenlerin iş yaşam doyumu elde etmesinde mesleki değişkenler bakımından farklı olup, olmadığı incelenmiştir. Yapılan hesaplamalar ve evreni temsil etmesi için toplam 1200 anket dağıtılmıştır. Ancak mevcut kısıtlayıcılar ve engeller nedeni ile 747 anket geri toplanmıştır. Toplanan anketlerin tamamı evreni temsil etmesi gereken 384 rakamının üzerinde gerçekleştiği için tekrardan anket uygulama çalışması gerçekleştirilmemiştir. Bu kapsamda evreni temsil edeceği düşünülen 747 anket üzerinden veriler ışığında incelenmiştir. Yapılan araştırma neticesinde çalışanların iş doyumları ile yaşam doyumları arasında anlamlı ve pozitif yönlü bir ilişkinin var olduğu belirlenmiştir. Regresyon analizi sonucuna göre çalışanlarda gerçekleşen iş doyumunun yaşam doyumuna pozitif etkisinin olduğu ortaya çıkmıştır. İş doyumu alt boyutları çerçevesinde ise sadece iş arkadaşları boyutunun yaşam doyumu elde etmede etkili olmadığı belirlenmiştir.

The aim of the research is to describe descriptively the relationship between job and life satisfaction of occupants working in accommodation enterprises. A total of 747 respondents agreed to respond to the survey during the 2015 tourism season in the hospitality enterprises of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism operating in and around Kusadasi. The collected data for the study examined whether the occupations differed in terms of occupational variables in achieving job satisfaction. According to the results of the research, it has been determined that the individuals have not achieved job and life satisfaction. A total of 1200 questionnaires were distributed to represent the calculations and universe made. However, 747 questionnaires were collected with the current restrictions and obstacles. Since all of the surveys collected were above the figure of 384, which should represent the universe, no repeat surveys were conducted. In this context, 747 questionnaires that are supposed to represent the universe were reached. It has been determined that there is a meaningful relation between the job satisfaction and life satisfaction of the employees. According to the results of the regression analysis, it was found that the job satisfaction realized in the employees was a positive effect on life satisfaction. In the framework of job satisfaction sub-dimensions, it was determined that only colleagues dimension was not effective in achieving life satisfaction.
