dc.description.abstractDetermination of thelevels of radioactivity concentration in food is very important for theprotection of human health. In this study, the level of radioisotope activityconcentrations (226Ra, 232Th, and 40K)naturally found in some medical and aromatic plants growing in Bitlis weredetermined. The analysis of 226Ra, 232Th and 40Kactivity concentration of medicinal plants were performed using a highresolution gamma-ray spectrometer with HpGe detector.en_US
